MarieBelle Chocolates - Food as Art

MarieBelle Chocolates

Tucked in a small shop in New York's Soho District, MarieBelle has developed a loyal following who probably buy their chocolates as much for how they look and packaged as how the chocolate tastes.  A great gift idea for the holiday season, MarieBelle offers beautifully packaged hot chocolate gift tins and boxed chocolate sets.  Shop at the MarieBelle website.

I would strongly advise AGAINST shopping at the MarieBelle website. I paid for a two-day delivery which actually ended up taking 10 days. Repeated calls and e-mails were met with no response whatsoever. My experience was not isolated, check the customer comment pages for Marie Belle at amazon.com:

I ordered the Chocolate Olives and they were delivered in 2 days. No problems at all.

I have to add that I've ordered from them twice(I live in Los Angeles), and the chocolates came in 2 days, no problem. They are also incredibly good. Just my 2 cents.
