I got this as a gift and it really seemed right up my alley. after 10 months i have so far recieved 1 garlic bacon, 1 pepper bacon, 1 applewood smoked bacon, 3 hickory smoked country bacon, and 4! hickory smoked bacon. granted, if you look at what sort of bacon they have to offer, most of it is hickory smoked. but most of the hickory smoked varieties were simply overpoweringly hickory flavored (save one) and ALL of the country bacon is unedible due to the extreme salt content of these bacons. i found the diversity in bacons lacking, the majority of them i would not buy, and in general buying bacon from the meat counter for 4.00 a pound at one of my local grocery stores was better tasting. really quite disappointing for the price (which works out to be ~ $20 per month with the shipping).
