Enjoy Food and Wine Abroad
Some say that you can't really learn the language unless you live in the country. Food lovers may argue the same can be said about cooking. Face it, it'd be much easier to cook an authentic Italian meal accompanied by the perfect local wine if you were actually IN Tuscany. There are many reputable wine and food travel tours out there, but we know a good place to start your research: Gourmet on Tour. It has excellent reviews and several tours to choose from. Check it out and hopefully your next marinara sauce will be simmering in an Italian kitchen.

Gourmet on tour is certainly a slick, upmarket company doing a variety of excellent travel. If you want someting personal, and expert guiding on French food and wine from an international wine professional you could try this:

My wife and I booked a three-day cooking school with Gourmet on Tour. The company advertised additional excursions, but later denied doing so (but they still promote them on their website). They refused to refund our money for the additional tours and have blown us off. The truth of the matter is ... you can book any of their cooking schools at an extreme discount: just call the hotel yourself and arrange for it. You'll save yourself around $1,000. Enjoy!

To all of you food and wine lovers out there, I want you to know that I just posted two all access passes to the Aspen Food & Wine Classic -- June 16-18, 2006 on e-bay.
The event has been sold out for months. Its a food and wine event in a beautiful setting.
Check it out on e-bay. I'd hate to see the tickets go to waste. Please feel free to e-mail me with any questions.
